Excellent vintage condition and perfect for your fall table setting.


Vintage set of orange pumpkin salt and pepper shakers with brown stems and bases. 
They are a beautiful shade of dark orange color with excellent leaf details. 
They are not marked. The pepper shaker has a slight white mark to the right of the holes, but is otherwise in excellent vintage condition. Each shaker measures approximately 3" wide by 4" high.

This week we sat down with Dawn from DL Designer Crafts  and got to know her and her shop.

Can you tell us a little about yourself and what you create?

I am a nurse with a husband and 2 boys who are heavily into hockey and baseball. We travel and camp during the summers on the off season of hockey.

I started crafting all types of items last winter when we had about 60 days of consecutive below zero days in MN. Crafting helped me get through those long days until spring came. I am very much a warm weather person.

How did you come about wanting to open a shop on Etsy? I crafted so much, I needed a way to sell my items. There were so many barriers to selling at craft shows such as hockey/basketball tournaments and games along with the expectations of my job as a floor nurse to work every other weekend. I can sell my items from the comfort of my own home.

What do you like to do in your free time when you're not working on your Etsy shop? In my free time when we are not involved in sporting events we are camping hiking, skiing, canoeing, biking and traveling.

What is your most popular product you sell? 

My most popular products are most likely my cinderella party favor bags, which I am currently out of stock. 

How long have you been practicing your craft or art? I have been crafting all my life but I have begun to attempt to create things, such as soap, to assist our family with becoming more self sufficient and less reliant on chemically products that were mass produced and unhealthy.

This buckeye tree is aflame with red leaves that glow in the sunlight as its branches stretch up to the autumn sky. The limbs reach out contrasting against the fiery foliage, looking very much like coronary vessels. The title plays upon this and the state slogan of Ohio, "The Heart Of It All", while reminding us of our connection to nature, especially trees. Strength coupled with fragility, human lives are interconnected as they branch out and intertwine with each other, reaching skyward yet sharing deep roots.

Pumpkin Spice Wax Melts From Soap Art

You'll get 4 Pumpkin Spice Wax Melts wrapped in a cello bag. 

Soy Wax Tart Melts are made up of highly scented soy wax. I put in the maximum amount of fragrance that soy wax can hold, so you'll get a strong smelling, long lasting pool of melted soy wax. 

Each tart is the perfect size for plug-in warmers. It measures 1.25" in diameter and is almost an inch tall.

Why soy wax? I like it because it's made in the US, it's natural, and it's easy to clean up. 

Wax melts may be melted in plug-in tart warmers or table top wax warmers. A tabletop warmer should hold at least two melts. Again, be sure to watch closely as wax melts to be sure it won't run over the edges of your warming bowl. 

Need a warmer? Check out my warmers offered for sale here . Both tabletop and plug-in models are available. Some of the warmers use light bulbs and some use a heating plate. You can also find replacement light bulbs for plug-in warmers. 

You'll get about 0.6 ounce of wax in each tart. One melt will produce scent in the plug in warmer of your choice for up to two weeks. This is based on my own testing as well as customer comments on how long the melts have lasted for them. Most plug-in warmers will hold one melt, and tabletop models will usually hold 2 or 3. Because the wax is highly scented, the fragrance will last a long time. You can adjust the amount of fragrance by adjusting the amount of wax you have in the warmer. When the scent loses potency, it’s quick and easy to pour the old wax out and put in a new wax melt. 

Wax melts are made in small batches. Due to the hand crafted nature of small batches, there may be color differences between batches of the same fragrance.

Always follow the directions given by the warmer manufacturer, and never leave melting wax unattended.
